Replacement belt clip for Standard Horizon HX270E handheld VHF??

Hi folks,
I managed to lose the clip (it's not moulded into the VHF, it's a seperate attachment) on the above handheld VHF - Does anyone have any ideas where i'd get a replacement one? It's just a bit of plastic, but i'm having no luck Googling

Any advise much appreciated

OK bit of research seems to tell me it's a "Clip-14" like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/YAESU-Original-b...d=p3286.c0.m14

Looks right to me!

Is it the little round button on the radio that slips into a U shaped slot on the belt clip?

This is a pretty standard setup; many radios (police type for instance), some cell phones, and many other devices use the same attachment.

If your E-Bay thing doesn't pan out, take the radio to a cell phone place and see if they can match it up.

Can't you just buy them from Yaesu? I am sure when I got my radio I got a spare one because I originally had an idea of screwing one to the console to provide a mount for the handheld but I never got around to it. I thought it was in the brochure I had for the set as an accessory item.

I've just dug out my order from when I got the set, I did get a spare one and it was under the part number shown on that ebay link, i.e. CLIP-14.

Googling for that shows quite a few returns

Sorry, didn't pick up this thread on 'new posts' for some reason so missed this before.

Anyway, any problems with the eBay purchase, we can supply for a fiver inc postage.

CLIP-14 is the correct one for HX270E
