Resetting NASA SX35 MMSI

Having moved my dsc radio from old boat to new boat and obtained new MMSI , I need to reset the MMSI. Does anyone know the procedure, or is it a case of calling NASA?

I understand that MMSI insertion was a "once-only" procedure on most DSC radios. Best call the manufacturer/local dealer.

can't you use the same no, i was under the impression you had to inform them if you sold the radio but if you take the radio to new boat as in your case not a problem, if this is not the case then you will have to send it back to be factory reset

Thanks for advice - if you sell boat then you need new MMSI - I have gone through resetting of MMSI with NASA before (illiterate fingers entering original mmsi!), but it is quite a lenghty procedure on the telephone - and I didn't write it down. It is a sequence of switching on and off holding various buttons - will have to call NASA as hoping to be out w/e.
