Some gauges not working

After refitting both batteries on a single engined Ribeye S-785, the following are not working:

Depth gauge
Controller trim switch (engine trim switch does work)
Nav lights
Stern light

All other instruments work perfectly. Does anyone have any similar experience or a wiring diagram? The fuses are all intact and the first place to start will be to check that we have a good earth and then continuity for each wire. If anyone has had a similar problem and can offer a solution I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks

Was everything working BEFORE you changed the batteries?

You'll need to get a meter onto the boat and see what's happening - probably just a failure to connect a cable correctly - or the copper has given up in one.

RIBase
Sounds like a common feed that's missing. Given that the engine trim works, but the throttle one doesn't I'd be looking for a missing feed rather than a bad earth. As Willk says, you need a meter & a bloke who knows how to use it.

Thanks, I've added that to my list.

It was all working but that was at the end of last season. I am going to put a meter across the connections. Thanks for the suggestion.
