Hi Neal,

I may be wrong here but the Swiftech range of fixed radios were supplied through Simpson & Lawrence for many years they have now gone, unfortunately, and there is no current wholesaler supplying these fixed units and as they were never Class D compliant it would not be possible to legally retail them any longer in the EU now that DSC has come about. Hence your search may be fruitless and you may well have to replace the unit completely. Sorry to be the bearer of such news who knows though someone on here may have an old set that they can let you have for spares - good luck.

(although you can still get the handhelds through Marathon Leisure - I think)

Steve

Try Hugh Davis of Phiad Marine 0141 445 3673
He was Swiftech service then later Silva.
I understand Silva no own the name "Swiftech)

He may well have spares

Thanks for all the information. I will give Hugh a call. The radio is working but hard to change channel I would like to try and get another season from it then upgrade to DSC.

We have a dozen or so of old swiftechs in the workshop which I have never got round to checking what is or is not working. I guess a knob will be of no loss so let me know which one it is and an address and we will send you one.

Cheers
