In a feeble attempt to keep up with Harry Dwyer and Goodwin I have updated the VHF on my Ribcraft from a rather tired Garmin VHF to a new Icom. Mounted it on a carbon plate with a Scanstrut USB charger to tidy up the holes left by previous installations. Not quite as good an installation as Cockwells managed but pleased with the result. For those that haven't seen it look up Harry Dwyer on YouTube to see the most Gucci Avon Searider SR4. I am some way off fitting or needing radar or an IR Camera but fun to see!
Very neat. Cockwell's did an amazing job on Harry's. It must be the best-equipped small RIB in the world. Are you happy with your layout? What next to add?
good choice of Icon vhf, fitted a couple of these now and very happy with them so far Goodwin might be a good setup but is it all really necessary on a 4mtr rib, think it's a tad overkill myself

It's a marketing exercise for Raymarine, a very clever one!
Can't knock Harry as his video editing skills are superb. I do feel the adventure has lost a bit of the boy scout element with the boat being so gucci now but hey ho. Looking forward to seeing the next installment.
Happy with my layout and the Icom VHF is a great improvement. A bigger plotter screen would be nice but the Garmin I have does a good enough job for my coastal cruising. Did Suffolk Coast, Poole, Weymouth, Anglesey, Dartmouth and tidal River Thames last year so got about a bit and hoping for more this year.
