Updating Firmware on Suzuki Engine Interface cable

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has anyway of updating the firmware on a suzuki engine data interface cable that feeds the engine data in to the MFD chartplotter.

I am getting dodgy fuel readings and it because I need to downgrade the firmware to V2.3 but it cannot be updated through a raymarine plotter...

Any thoughts... :-)

Have managed to get hold of a Lowrance HDS unit now to do the updating in the boat... fingers crossed!

been there, done that.....if you search some of my posts you will find the exact firmware i got to work with mine, although YMMV as it is hit/miss what firmware seems to work correctly.
