Vhf

Hi all.
Due to engine noise etc, we are unable to hear the VHF clearly when at speed. My VHF does have a connection for an external speaker. I am not sure of the output power or resistance for a speaker at this time.
What i would like to do is connect this output to a head set or ear piece to monitor.
I appreciate that there probably will need a form of control with external volume. I am not looking for two way, just monitor. Better still would be bluetooth.

I hope you get the idea as to what i seek and can offer some advice.

I bought these for the same reason. No need for any form of external volume control. They are wired via a waterproof connector on the console so the VHF's internal speaker still works when they're in use.

Submersible so should last.
