VHF Remote handset not functioning!

I have a Standard Horizon VM-3500E with a remote RAM handset controller.


All is working ok with the main unit, but the RAM Handset is not working....

Have checked all obvious connections, nothing amiss.

Interestingly, the PWR button on the remote still switches the main unit on and off.

All helpful ideas greatly appreciated - at the very least, who can I contact for 'professional' advice/repair?

From my recent experiences I'd say SH are pretty good to approach direct if it's the unit that's faulty: try email sales@yaesu.co.uk FAO Adie or Sam Ruddy in Service.

I recall they may do some fixed price repairs if out of warranty - basically, I'd just ask them.
