I told Mrs willk that a handheld was stipulated by my Marine Life Insurance Policy - no Handheld, no Payout. I also mentioned that they were virtually useless walkie talkies and that if I actually needed one, I was a dead man.
shes not happy, ive spent a grand on electronics, but still need a handheld, why she says... its for you i say...i can call you when ive finished a hard days fishing and you can bring the jeep and trailer to the waters edge, and i can just drive the rib on the trailer...that went down well..not.. do need one, mine got nicked off boat last year, was goosed anyway, so ribsters keep a look out. cheers steve
I have an Icom M21 with rechargeable battery pack that does hold a charge but not for long with mains charger. also has a dry battery pack that works . The radio has only been used a handfull of times and never dropped or got wet. will accept £50 inc postage regards Geoff
