Maybe worth more - even as much as £600 - you won't know until you try. When you upgrade go for the E series - the camera inputs will be handy - otherwise not much point just to get a bigger screen.

I am planning on mounting 2 bullet cams on my a Frame and feeding them through an Archos AV500 then on to the Display.
Also I find navigating round our reefs at speed very difficult , The C80 screen seems to shrink!!

Guys

I'm handling E120's and C120's every day at the moment.
Beware the extra depth required behind the E120 compared to the C120

Also the E120 is surprisingly heavy at 7.35Kgs compared to the C120's 3kgs

I'd also only suggest flush fitting the E120, I wouldn't want to mount 7.35kg on a bracket unless the console it was bolted down to was very sturdily built.

This by the way is NOT the official Raymarine viewpoint.

Current list price of a new C80 is £1546.30 inc VAT

I don't seem to have any trouble - only time it looks small is if you have other displays open as well - fullscreen on the chart plotter zoomed in and it's great!!!

Failing that maybe some glasses would be a cheaper upgrade.........

Guys

I'm doing a 6 month contract at Raymarine sorting out their packaging and other printed item requirements during their move to manufacturing at an EMS supplier in Hungary.

Believe me, if there were any free samples going Nashers Revenge would be bristling by now. As you can imagine security is very tight.

My staff discount is strictly only for my own use as well.

Mind you even with 30% off its still more expensive than anything else.
Sadly I'm broke after spending so much time without a job this year, so can't take advantage.

Nasher.
