Yachtline 600 (1997) - fuel sensor location?

Hi there,

I am new to the zodiac world (and enjoying it a lot!).

Having fuel gauge/sensor problems. Gauge not reading properly. The local mechanic when looked at it said the gauge was ok - as the earth wire, when placed on the fuel sensor diode gave a full reading?

So we are now searching for the fuel sensor. Does anyone know where to look as having problems locating.

Cheers,
Michael. BC Canada (salt spring island).

The floor is a large plate under the console and screwed down right? The tank is under the floor and the sending unit is in the top of the fuel tank...

Thanks. Saw the panel, but no clean access as drivers seat covers a portion. Will clean off silicon on screws and see if we can take it out. Cheers

Yeah its going to be a pain to access. You'll probably have to remove the seat. Sending units are fairly inexpensive and easy to replace once you get to the top of the tank.

Check all the clamps and the fuel lines while you are in there.
