Yamaha 703 wiring help

Afternoon!

Have a few questions which I need help on..

Firstly, does any one know what this is ? It comes out my 703 control box.



There are 4 wires inside, 1 purple, 1 green, 1 pink, and 1 black



From the wiring diagram it looks as if the green and black are for a tachometer ?
But I have no idea about the purple and pink ?

Thats a mercury/mariner plug. You also have a Mercury ignition switch. I guess somebody has fitted a merc loom into your 703 box and your key number is 2B!
