Your thoughts on the Fusion MS-RA50?

I'm looking to put some sort of tunage in the RIB. The Fusion RA 50 seems to fit the bill but I was wondering what other users thought of it?

Does it sound like a £100 radio or is it worth spending a few more quid on a higher model?

I only want some tunes, don't need all the extra features found on the more expensive units.

I've got the RA200 and iPod/USB dock. Works great for me! It'll play music from a USB stick, charge my iPhone and charge the go pro batteries all at the same time!
Sounds good too!
I should think the 50 will do just as well.

Also got the ra200. Great bit of kit for the size. Didn't bother with the iPod dock as I just plug in my iPod via the the usb port on back and the iPod sits in a dry bag inside the console.

Very very good sound for its size and cost, and I only run two speakers off it .I think the 50 would be just as good.

Not sure what the 50 has on the back , but on the 200 its a standard USB port - so yep I use the normal lead with the ipod in a dry bag ( the kind that the top rolls down on that did a free little one a while back - over board I think ? ) . That gives you full IPOD menus on the fusion .

Not sure if the 50 has the same USB connectivity on the back ? - But common sense would seem to suggest it would . Its not very clear on the fusion site of the product info ....

If the 50 doesn't have the USB then it works out at near enough the same price as the 200 as the "optional" iPod lead is about 35 bucks.

I think il go for the 200.

Don't bother with the fusion lead. Use the normal one you'd plug your iPod to computer with..a couple of quid on eBay. Works just the same!
