Something a bit different from the usual trade announcements and special offers, but something we think those that work outdoors and enjoy their boating leisure time might find interesting!
If you've ever thought about training or assessing First Aid, you'll know that most people want certificates approved by the HSE, such as
Emergency First Aid at Work (1 Day), and
First Aid at Work (3 Days). Gaining accreditation to run these courses can be a time consuming and costly process.
At
Stormforce Coaching, we've taken the hard work and done it for you; as an accredited HSE First Aid Training Provider, we are able to train and qualify
HSE First Aid Trainer/Assessors, who can then go and run courses at suitable venues, and provide certification.
You set the course fees, you take the profit. There are no annual recognition fees with us, you simply pay per certificate.
How to Qualify as an HSE First Aid at Work Instructor
To qualify, you must hold the First Aid at Work certificate, or be a registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Medical Doctor. You must also have some sort of teaching/assessing experience or qualifications (such as Powerboat Instructor or similar). You are then eligible to attend a one day
First Aid at Work Instructor Course at our centre in Southampton.
During the course, we will go through training and assessing, as well as the administration of courses (with the HSE paperwork does play a part!), and information on how to order training manuals and certificates from us.
Once that's complete, you will then be qualified to deliver the EFAW course, and train or assess the FAW course.
We have a First Aid at Work Instructor course on the
18th May.
For those that don't hold the FAW certificate, we have a course running on the
15th - 17th May.
If anyone has any questions on the above, or is interested in becoming a First Aid Training Provider under our umbrella, please do call or e-mail the office as below, or send us a private message and we'd be happy to provide further information.
