Henshaw Inflatables awarded contract
Henshaw Inflatables Ltd are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract by Babcock International/Ministry of Defence for the repair and servicing of all the Nominated Inflatable Class boats. which include Zodiac 4.7 metre raiding craft, W525 mine clearance inflatables, 5.2 metre medium inflatable boats and other classes. As a result of the contract which is for three years (with an option for a further two years), we have increased the factory space to a total of 35,000 square feet, and a further 4 full time staff have been employed and are undergoing intensive training.
Chris Hornidge, Managing Director of Henshaw Inflatables, comments “ We are delighted to have been entrusted with this contract, which continues our long association with the MOD, having been the manufacturer of the Inflatable collars for all the Pacific and Arctic RIBS for nearly 20 years”.
