THE CONCEPT Owning your own boat sounds like a great idea, especially a RIB, with all the adrenaline filled speed and excitement it brings; not to mention the freedom to be able to get out on the water and go where you like whenever you like. But wait a minute . . .
WHY OWN A BOAT? They are rarely used all year round and when you factor in depreciation, servicing, mooring and administration, boat ownership is expensive. But if you want to let someone else worry about this while you spend your leisure time enjoying yourself, then the Lynx Rib Club is for you.
HERE’S THE IDEA Specialist events company Lynx Sports has teamed up with SailTime Lymington to provide the ultimate RIB package. Both companies are based in Lymington from where the RIB Club is managed. SailTime is, without doubt, the world’s leading fractional sailing and power cruising membership company. Using only Scorpion RIBs who make some of the fastest and most luxurious RIBS on the water. They are replaced every two years ensuring that club members have the very latest in reliability, safety, speed and technology.
HERE’S HOW IT’LL WORK As a member of The Lynx RIB Club all you have to do is log onto the SailTime website were you can check availability and book your days on-line. The boats are prefuelled and valeted for you, leaving you maximum time to water-ski, doughnut, lunch on the Isle of Wight or barbeque on the remote beaches of Studland Bay. The boats seat up to 10 people. When you return you will be met and all you have to do is hand the keys over you’ll be free to go – Simple!
AND IN ADDITION We offer a number of other services to ensure that you’ll get the most out of your membership, these include: RYA training for all levels up to instructor; night time training; day out packs for the Solent, gourmet catering, and much more.
MEMBERSHIP Our club membership is £600* (Inc VAT) per month. The minimum period of commitment is 12 months. In addition, there is a one off joining fee and a security deposit required. As a member you have nothing else to pay and our guaranteed a minimum of 42 days a year. * Fuel charges apply. Standard membership provides you with:
