RYA Poweboat Instructor Course (including pre assessment) at Plymouth Powerboat School, Devon & Cornwall.
This four day course trains you in the various techniques and teaching methods required to instruct the RYA Level 1 and 2 syllabi. You will plan and run a number of classroom and practical sessions under the supervision of an experienced RYA Powerboat Trainer.
Entry requirements: RYA Powerboat Level 2 (Advanced and/or Safety boat recommended), First Aid (VHF recommended), a good all round boat handling ability and good theoretical knowledge. The first day of the course includes a pre assessment day which is a requirement to continue though the next three days of instructor training.
Minimum age: 16
Course fee: £500 (including pre assessment).
Prices include VAT, RYA Powerboat Logbook, Certificate (on successful completion), All Fuel, Tea & Coffee, Hire of Waterproofs and Lifejacket
