The course is a pre-requisite to becoming an instructor or commercially endorsed skipper, and is also of huge benefit to all boaters, as it offers good peace of mind for those "what if?" situations.
Over this informative and hands on day you will cover:
* Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
* Clinical shock
* Extremes of temperature
* Burns
* Arrest of haemorrhage
* Immobilisation of fractures
* Cold shock
* Secondary Drowning
* Hydrodynamic shock
* Treatment of illness in a marine environment
* Recovery position
Usually this course costs £70, but we will do a cash price on it of £50 for Ribnet members.
