2001 caribe 13 ft.

i am considering purchasing this boat.

it has a 50hp 4 stroke and a trailer.

priced at $6500.

seems kind of high.

is there a blue book for ribs?

May or may not be high depending on condition. Assuming it hasn't been used all that much, and assuming you've looked into "new" cost, it may be reasonable. Remember that a new 50hp motor alone will be around $4K, if not more.

Retail prices of Caribe 13'ers look to be between about $9K and $12K, and that's probably less motor, certainly less trailer.

Thanks for your input and advice.

I am looking at the unit this weekend.

Seller says that boat and trailer are pristine.

It was a tender for a 45ft boat.

I believe that the boat has some electronics too.
