733 Project Boat - Launch

Another milestone was met today with the launch of my 733. Everything started and ran pretty well. We have some Gremlins in the electrical systems. Oil pressure was a little lower than the mechanic would like. The mechanical gauge states everything is fine but the electrical gauge is a little under what we would like. The turbo is a little slow to kick in but when it does it sets you back into your seat. We suspect fuel filters and are waiting on Yanmar to fill the back order. None of the electronics have been installed and the fiberglass interior needs some compounding. The good news is she floats and will likely come home by next weekend. There is a lot more to do and the money is flowing faster than the river where she is moored but in the end she will be a good boat.

Hello Ft Myers! I have the boat behind the house on the Gordon River. But you are right the photos of the launch are in Ft Myers. I may have the boat in Ft Myers next weekend for the boat show. Look me up or send me an email if you are interested.
