Any body know anything about the AM700

I am looking for some information on the AM700 made by AMBAR Marine. Any body know if these are good boats and if they handle seas well?

Looks to me (from a cursory glance at their site) that these guys do a build-to-order-custom-boat type build strategy. Probably relatively small volume, which means they'll be pricey (when compared to mass marketed boats.)

I've never heard of anyone who owned one, but it appears they concentrate on commercial markets, so that's not that surprising.

Not much help, I know.

don't buy an old AM700

Decks are built too low. The boat carries 4 inches of water on the deck at rest up to the console.

I thought that might be the case the pictures make it look like it is missing about 3-6 inches of free board before the tubes.
