Anyone recognize this Rib?

Advertised on ebay for a long time now, as a 18 foot Zodiac. Not much more info besides that. Looks like it has some Wing tubes on it.

Just seeing if anyone knew something about this Rib, Im driving from SF to LA to look at it.

Yeah I just sold my Hurricane 533. I want to go with a new Zodiac Searider 5.4, but this Zodiac doesn't seem like a bad deal if I can get the hull for around 6k. Not sure how much that Etec is worth in that condition but I don't think I would try to reuse that motor.

I think its a Hurricane 540...

He's been sitting on it for a LONG time. From what I recall, he paid almost $9K for it. He buys a lot at auction but mostly heavy equipment (heard that he exports to China). As you may remember, we had this discussion before - deep-v H540 versus the cathedral-hulled H540. This is the deep-version versus what you had.

EDIT: I thought it was deep -v but now looking at your pictures, I'm not so sure. The only reason I thought it was deep -v was because a friend was also bidding on it. Who knows....maybe he can send you better pictures of the transom.

EDIT2: Ya, I can't tell from the pics - the wood holding the engine bracket up could be blocking the -v (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...ectorid=229466)

This one might be for sale again:

It's in San Diego and he hasn't been using it.

Thanks for the input ncp. Looking at the pics in the link you posted of the 540 for sale, it looks like the same boat, the 540. If you know user "I LOVE RIBS" let him know I would pick that up in a heartbeat.

A friend in San Diego bought that boat from I LOVE RIBS about a year and a half ago. I saw my buddy in the water over Thanksgiving and he said he hasn't been using the boat and may want to sell it. I'll see if I can round up a email for him...
