Buying a used RIB in Canada

Has anyone purchased a used RIB from a private party in Canada and brought it back to the US? What was involved with the paperwork, duty and taxes, going through customs, etc.? This is an older Avon (with engine and trailer), so unfortunately I don't think it would be subject to any of the NAFTA export/import exemptions for Canadian-built RIBs.

Thanks in advance...

Ya know, I purchased a SR6 out of Connecticut and cut through Canada to get it home. It is much faster to go from Buffalo to Port Huron, Michigan via Canada. I had no problems entering Canada or the US. I told them I bought it in Connecticut and was just transporting it to Michigan. In Port Huron I was asked if I had a receipt, I said yes and they waved me through never looking at the receipt.

duty and customs

just get a customs broker, they're not as expensive as I thought (reverse, bringing boats into canada)

duty should be very low on used equipment. Get receipt to reflect larger amt for american built outboard and/or trailer, if they are in a package.
