Chasing whales

Ok well, not exactly chasing, as the regulations (and penalties) are pretty severe over here!
So coming towards the end of the Whale migration season, but still able to catch a few greys heading south.

That together with, we are having"super Pod" of dolphin (in the thousands) crusing up and down the coast.
So still lots to see.
Hoping to get another couple of trips in before the season ends.
The weather is blue skies but cool (65' Brrrrrrrr) so may have to put a coat on

cheers Dal

Can't beat seeing the wildlife when out and about - found these a couple of years ago, to be fair we had gone looking

Gorgeous photos from both of you, the dolphin shot in the lower left especially! Sixty five degrees, eh? Good to hear you are braving the elements.

That is one of the reasons diving in Northern California is so spectacular. We get to see dolphins fairly often and whales during the seasons for them. Occasionally a killer whale will appear too.

Thanks for sharing the photos!

How about a basking shark? Sorry John
