Damn ,it's hot !!

Well the old pressure release valves on the XSrib are coming useful !
Think the tubes would be popping under this present hot spell
And have to leave the "cooler" temps on the coast here in San Diego and head inland for work friday. Expected temp of 112 degrees

Think it's going to be a short visit, then back to the balmy 98 degrees here.
May as well gas up the RIB and spend the weekend on the water.(along with the SPF50 )
cheers Dal

Well, it's supposed to be (theoretically, anyway) an El Nino year, which means we'll probably be seeing some heavy rain (assuming the weather prognosticators are correct.) Unfortunately, it probably won't be til late October (if at all.)

Get the feeling I don't have much faith in weathermen?

112 in SD? It's been like low 70's in Monterey. Upper 80's at home in Oakland. Hope you guys don't melt down there.

Supposed to go to a Dept of Fish & Game ,kids shooting day saturday.
Great event, where they shoot,, pistols/shotguns/black powder/rimfire /archery and even tomahawk throwing But its inland in Escondido which is usually hotter than heck !!
Torn between a great annual event and wilting under the heat
Gets ridiculous once over the hundred mark

And yes the forest fires have started again.
Can't even imagine the poor firefighters all kitted up and working in these conditions ! Got way too close for comfort here last year,so luckily most of the heavy dry fuel burned up already

Phew, got to go grab a cold one !!!!
