The US Military has just stopped Google from doing any street-level videos on bases, citing "putting personnel at risk" from terrorist activities.
When I was building avionics, I had to get security clearance for some field service I was doing. The only classified info I ever saw was teh number of helicopters operating out of the Fort Rucker helicopter training base (which you could have counted driving by on the public highway.) Go figure.
