I'm on the Columbia as well Janet. Well, half the time. Up in Skamokawa Washington. Between the logs floating by, the current, ships, fog, and close chop, it makes for an interesting boating boating experience.

I don't check in to often. I get out when the weather goes above 70 here and its sunny. Here in the states doesn't seem like people use RIBs are their primary boat for what ever reason. I sunk about $37K into getting my boat and easly could have bought a bigger used fiberglass boat with a cabin. Maybe thats part of it?

Re-reading the title of this post: Were you asking about who posts on here, or who actually gets out does stuff? Lately, I haven't been doing much of the latter...

Hey folks,
Been checking the site, from up here in Humboldt/Del Norte counties, off and on for the last couple of years. Especially when I was refurbing the boat and looking for great ideas about getting her done.
Sure it cost 5G for the boat and over 10G for the refurb but I wouldn't miss the chance to do it again.

Not sure if the 4m length is helping or hurting you there.

Too bad about those unsightly straps... Something in red leather would be nice....
