I looked at this boat that was for sale today,

and it seems like it is priced real high.

RIB Boat 28' Zodiac Near New Low Hours Twin 150's + Trailer

The pictures don't show it, but there are canvas cover for motors, seats, and center console. There are also chaps that completely cover the tubes, and a radar dome mounted on top of t top. The boat and trailer appear to be in very good condition.

Is this a reasonable price for this boat and trailer?
What is a good resource to try to figure out a fair price for this boat?
I looked at NADA.

4 year old boat? I'd say it's priced pretty reasonably. That's just a guess, though, as I don't have much of a handle on bigger boats.

I looked at NADA.

Seems a bit high to me. But, that is based on new 2013 stock I know is available and the fact that the last three Pro 850 Opens I sold (all in 2011) went for under $70K brand new with trailer.

Zodiac Pro 850 With T-Top With Yamaha F300UCA EFI 4-Stroke

I would think closer to the $50K range would be fair for both parties.

The Zodiac Pro 850 Open is a great boat. My wife and I have owned two for our personal craft. Though, I prefer the more open layout of the Pro 850 (nee Pro 20 Man), which shares the same hull and the Pro 850 Open, but has more space in the cockpit.

In the 28' class, it is my favorite hull under $100K.

jky, Stephan,

Thanks for your time and input.

Stephan,
I checked out the link for Defender, and that price looked pretty good, but wouldn't you have to add almost another 20K for trailer, shipping, dealer prep, and electronics? I would probably have to ad another 2K or so for shipping to CA.

Are you a broker? If yes, do you currently have any for sale?

What exactly is a nee Pro 20 Man? I can't seem to find any pictures.

"Nee" meaning "used to be called".
