You ought to consider emigrating to Mexico then, sun, ridiculously cheap steaks and you get to become a Peso millionaire!

The film crew from "deadliest catch" are ariving next week to do an episode on Marlin. Should be fun down at the marina.

Ho hum, such is life in the sun.

Yeah, figured you would be in snow by now from what I saw on the doppler. We got cold weather below freezing day and night the last week or so now so the small river here froze over. This morning I woke up to see 15-20cm (6-8in.) of snow on the ground and the heavy wet type. But you guy's on the shores of the great lakes are getting quite a bit of lake effect snow. I know Buffalo as usual is getting a crap load.

My RIB is in it's winter shelter and all electronics out. Happy winterland.

Cheers

The nice thing with Tob is that most of the Lake Effect goes right past and doesn't land until halfway down the Peninsula. The areas further south along Lake Huron got about 50 - 70 cm and serious drifting.

It's a bit milder at the moment. Ever the optimist... Maybe just one more run....

Ugh. What's the deal with California anyway? We get TV ads up here with Awnold and Missus Swartz enticing us to move there... not to vacation, but work...

Considering the population of California is greater than the population of Canada, it's hard to imagine that you really need more folks to work there.

What is that funny looking white stuff on the boat? Did I mention it will be in the 70's today? Happy Thanksgiving.

I wish it was gull poop, but alas it is not. And thanks for the Happy Turkeyday greeting, but we had ours a month ago. All the turkeys up here have gone into hibernation...

Hell ya!

Dragged the boat through a blizzard to Lake Ontario... Nice day... 2C air, calm, sunny. Had a great dive on a little wreck in 115 feet... 100'+ visability, 4C water, 40 minutes...

Yeah, because 4c water is 40F and done that and colder years ago just not up to it anymore. Or maybe because I lost my dive buddy's. Nasty weather on the way today.

It's all in the undies! I was in the water for 40 minutes and it wasn't too bad...

That's definitely it though! It's snowing like crazy here tonight... The boat's into storage tomorrow....
