I am a kiwi girl coming to LA for the Laser Radial Worlds 2006. Myself and 3 other girls are also bring a coach. But we cant seem to find a suitable boat for him to use.
The regatta is being run out of California Yacht Club at Marina de Rey.
If there is anyone out there that has a boat we could use, or know of where to find one, please email me.
We would require the boat from 22nd July untill 4th August.
We are very very desperate as we are leaving next week, and my coach doesnt seem to keen to walk on water!
Around here, most of the sailing class coach boats are Boston Whalers or similar (probably due mostly to reputation. Surely isn't because they're inexpensive. Though, I suppose, there's enough older ones around. But I digress...)
Shouldn't have too much trouble finding a rental in a hard boat. RIB's may be tough, as they have yet to gain much of a market share here in the States.
