How many rated captains on this (North American) forum?

I can recall 2; though there may be more than that.

I was hoping someone who has taken it would respond because I have some questions about the course

Well, yeah; I figured that. Thing is, we have a fairly small number of people on this forum, a scarcity of rated Captains, and there are quite a few schools out there.

You might want to join and ask on a forum with a larger number of local users, like TheHullTruth or something like that.

I am a UK rated Captain - just found out that I can't get any USCG license except the '6 pack' as a permanent resident, need to be a citizen for all other licenses

So I am planning to take the exam without schooling as soon as the TWIC card is sorted and $$$ permit.
