Need recommendation- tube installer (PVC) on east coast

Hi guys- I've got a Hysucat 28 RIB and have had new tubes made by the manufacturer in S. Africa. Going to air freight them to the states and I need to have them installed.

Right now my boat's in Puerto Rico. I know it's a longshot, but what's the feasibility of finding an installer and flying him down to the island to do the install for me?

If that's not feasible, I can ship my boat to either Jacksonville or New Jersey. Any shops to recommend for the tube installation that specialize in PVC? (the new tubes are made from Valmex, and are a PVC-based material).

So, in summary, I either need a shop on the east coast that can do this for me, or an installer I can hire and fly down to PR for a few days.

Thanks.

Re-tube

Sylvio - Owner of Inflatable Marlin Services offers remote re-tube work. Not sure if he will install a PVC tube.

I also have a Hysucat 28 from South Africa and my tubes have just failed after 4.5 years here in Bermuda. Seems have all split assume based on UV damage.

Where did you get your tubes remade as reluctant to trust south african manufacturing after this last lot lasted so badly.

I am in a similar situation where I am in BDA so need to get remade and then shipped and bring a specialist to the island or ship the boat to the USA.

Cheers
Nik

Thanks Marian and SoCal Hurricane. Have you actually used Alfred? I found him online and looks like he is a specialist but want to make sure the reference are for work done as not an insignificant expense to ship tubes for remake so want to make sure I can trust the shop and the work quality.

Thanks
Nik

I have not used his services as of yet, but a friend of mine has a set of his tubes and he says they are better than both Wing and Zodiac put together.

I’m working on my 7m hurricane right now and plan on having him build me a new set of tubes for this boat. New tubes with everything is about $10K (USD). That’s money well spent in my book...

Don’t think you can go wrong with what I’ve seen of his work online. His reputation is very good and I think a trip to the islands to work on your boat would make for a cool video to add to his YouTube page.

Hope this helps...
