Hi guys,

Just bought a project Rib its 1995 Novurania MX430 Jet which need some patching,
any help in confirming the tube material it's white color from outside and off white or kinda yellowish from the inside though from the inside its very smooth unlike the outside,
need to know whether it's a PVC or wish to be a Hypalon ?
and whats the best glue to use ?

I've read a lot of posts saying that Hypalon should be black or dark grey from the inside is that is a must though mine isn't so it's off white or kinda yellowish

Your right if it is Orca fabric, most builders use Orca but nova use their own. Every Nova I have ever come across has been Hypalon.

Do you think that Orca fabric and clifton glue + accelerator would do a
good patch as i need to do an inside patch as well
or it's better to get the nova material

Orca fabric will be fine, I don't know about Clifton glue as I have never used any of their products.

Clifton makes a good product. I have used it a few times. I think most of there stuff is heat activated which was not an issue for me. From the photos you psoted that is going to be a tricky repair due to size and location in relationship to the fiberglass.

Good luck !

yeh it is tricky but it's worth a trial, that's at the bow where the fiberglass meet the tube luckily it's not attached to the fiberglass at top point for about 5" deep so i can put my hand between them also it has another 5"cut under it this way i can work it out from the inside as well, the old owner had a collision with a broken tree branch that went through the bow tube on both sides
