Well the 2013 Evinrude 90hp Etec is installed and suffice to say it has been a huge difference ..... Both in dependability as well as being able to jump up on plane in all of about 3 seconds .... Very, very nice I think I am going to have to reprop though as I a maxing out at about 4K on the rpm and I think I should be good for about 5K on the etec? I'll have to check back with the dealer on that one .... Anyone on here know? So far I am happy with it and the whole enchilada was $10K USD 6 year warranty included.

Specs say 4500-5500.

Drop 2 to 4 inches or thereabouts. It'll likely take some testing, as you're far enough out that the ground rules don't track all that accurately.

Thanks .... I'll have to check around some. As light as it is I can probably get away with a speedier prop without loosing too much umph. You're right about the need for trials .... Nothing's ever simple 💸
