As I recall, Limeydal got a few shots of this thing during some testing in San Diego.

Look back through the posts, and you'll probably come across them.

Either this forum, or the photo one.

Talking of photos etc have you seen

http://maps.live.com/

Their aerial photos(birdseye view) are incredible. Loads of places in the UK and the USA on there - including Swansea and San Diego!!!

Wow Codders! Thanks for the link
Best resolution I have seen for my house here in San Diego. Very clear!

The shots used for popular Mechanics were actually taken from my RIB
The BAE systems photographer was on the Protector (you can just see him in the first shot below)
He then transferred over to my RIB and we ran alongside Protector to get the shots they used. In fact my second frame below, was taken by me , just split second before the one they used in the article.
cheers Dal

Here are some more - San Diego is a lovely place - I will be putting you out of business with my own "bayshots" - last 2 are Swansea.

Have you found your boat though?

I've spent hours staring at the Google Earth images around Tobermory trying to find my RIB. My truck and trailer are in the driveway, and the boat isn't on the trailer, but I can't find "me" anywhere. I assume I was off in a low-res. area...
