Anyone had any experience/advice to share on this?

Sooooo many great options to get a new/used RIB from UK/Europe

If you are thinking New...the best people to talk too would be the manufacturers/makers about export procedures.
I know Ribcraft have exported all over the World and have lots of experience in this area,I'm sure the other Larger makers would have the same kind of know how..This would also be true for a used and or re-furbed Boat bought from a maker/retailer business.
If you're thinking of a used RIB from a Private seller probably best to make enquiries from you're end...once it's paid for Id imagine the Ball would be pretty much in you're Court...
