Last Saturday I used about 200 litres playing around and it was worth every penny look forward to next Saturday playing around using similar amount of pretrol

Since I use my boat mostly for diving, I often run out a few miles, dive and return, so consumption isn't huge. Then I do something stupid like deliver a birthday cake...

Since my boat is in Toronto currently, I might use it in Lake Erie this weekend Pat, assuming I get it back. We dive around Long Point down there, and the wrecks are about 32 - 35 miles out from Pt. Dover. Of course, if I make it, I'll be running my miserly new 4-stroke!

Fuel to date this season is about $750 I think. Fortunately, my employer has a very liberal expense policy! (And the fact that can fill up at gas stations and not marinas helps!)

Some guy came in to town in a 140 footer a couple of weeks ago and sat at the marina for about 2 hours filling up... If you can afford the boat...

I couldn't imagine. I know how much it hurts after 5 minutes of filling my truck. If I tried a maneuvre like that, it would require a total cashectomy.
