The Navy, Dolphins, and Ribs
I live in San Diego, which has a very high Navy presence. They have lots of Ribs which you see every day on The San Diego Bay.
Some go by real fast with Navy Seals, and Security forces.
Others go slow and putt around the harbor, docks, piers, and ships.
They work with Dolphins, and you can get a pretty good view of them.
The Dolphin rides on a mattress that folds up like a taco when it is riding in it.
It jumps right up out of the water in/on to the mattress all by itself.
I took a couple of quick pics with my iPhone recently. They are not very good, but you can make out the Dolphin right under the bow.
