trim control wireing question

hello, have a mercury twin control set up and had a question about the trim wires. the 2 wireing harnesses i have use 3 wires, red , green, and blue with a white stripe. the twin control set up has a small black box u can see in the pics. the 2 plugs are different on the controls than the plugs on the harness i am useing. my question is the plugs from the control u see in the pic has only 2 wires going into one of them, 1 plug has the blue and green wires with the white strip and the other has the same plus a red wire i am assumeing is power? I am mateing this control to the 2 wire harnesses i have and have to know what i do with the red wire from the second harness since only 1 white plug on controls have a red wire going to it. the control box is model 883711 A02. thanks, any info would be a great help. I was hopeing everything would just plug in perfectly but looks like i will be doing a little extra work to get then to work.
