so we have the jig built and have a test piece in to see if we get a passing grade.

We pulled the test piece out today and it fits great. going to make a few small adjustments then go for the gold!

decided we needed to add a diffuser to the led to get a more even glow, so we cut another dash and made a few other modifications. we are running a 3/4 poly band on the bottom to act as a diffuser. The space between the poly and the starboard is the future home of the LED strips.

LED test

So we just finished our final test of the led's. we will start the bend on monday or tuesday. So cool! this is the bottom of the dash. throws a soft glow around the console top.

finally done, off to powder coating now.

finished up all the welding and now its going to powder coating.

Update panel pictures

We forgot to add the retractable zip cord. you can trim the panel with the cord, so when you are working on the boat you can lower the panel and gain access.
