The Finished Product.....

The front door and recessed glass windows with "frited" edges are now installed.
The top is stiff enough that a 200lb fellow can hang from the aft edge with no deflection.
I'm very pleased with the ergonomics and wind protection during seatrials this afternoon.

Very nice job! Great layout of the console with a lot of real estate for electronics.

Your old boat is getting a new Bimini top in Thailand, we will put the engines in July.
Thank you for the fantastic quality of work on the boat.

Yevgeny

Thanks Lloyd,

I just picked up a 2003 Hurricane 733 that I'm really excited about rebuilding with one of my consoles.
The console and top will be widened to the full width of the deck which will provide really good protection from the elements. The door to access the inside of the console will be moved to the back side beside the helm.
The boat is all stripped down and ready for rebuilding with new tubes, wiring, motors etc.
I'll start a new thread on the build shortly.

Congrats on the new boat!

I like your idea to make the top of the console wider.

Hi Ryan,
I've already used the old console in my 630.
YNP did you get your boat in the water yet?

No, the engines arrived last week, took some time to custom clear. The yard is doing the electrics. I hope to have the boat ready by November.

I bought a Cz7 console but we decided to keep yours. It is roomier and I will need some stowage.

Had the orange 733 out in the rain today and I stayed dry!
Gotta love the pantograph windshield wiper.
