Specially given that the kill cord appears to be round her ankle!

Maybe it's one of those newfangled bluetooth killcords that she carries in her pocket?

Which picture are you looking at? If it's the one in post 3, you can't see her right arm, which is where it would be.

Fair point, we can't 100% of her body so it could be attached somewhere odd. I don't tend to wear it round a wrist cos it would be too easy to get tangled up in it. For example if you had to cross your hands for some reason... y'know steering or something.

Look I really don't care if she's wearing one or not, it's just a bit of a Ribnet meme which I was playing up to.

Luckily just boat damage ( tubes ripped off one side) which she was looking at getting replaced anyway.
And of course the tragic end of a nice Canon and L series zoom !! Aghhhhhhhhhhh
Both her and dale fine ,with quite the story to tell

Well Ive been circled and hit by a Minke .. and I always wondered when was the right time to go .. it was my crew mate who kept me waiting just to observe the beast at close quarters ,.... but when it bumped the bottom of the boat after diving at us amid ships in opposite directions .... I wasnt hanging about any longer .. It put the fear of god in me .. with awe at the same time

I have been photographing blues and greys in the distance, when others have surfaced right next to the RIB !
Quite an" interesting" feeling, alongside something 2x3 times longer than your boat !
This one ,must have been more interested in getting a big "gulp" food, rather than looking where it was going

Well thank goodness someone one here is prepared to take a Sacred Cow for a gallop around the back paddock!

Anyway - the story made the BBC with (kinda) video: BBC News - Boat overturned by blue whale off California coast
