Quads are another great way to have some fun in the out doors i used to race them, but also enjoyed messing around on farm quads. Abit of advice though jono no matter what you are doing on a quad i advise wearing a helmet, better safe than sorry and i know alot of people who have been the sorry ones.

Just down the road from me then im fae Fenwick.
When were you racing i started in 1999 and raced until 2003 then moved onto racing cars then did abit again in 2007.
Iv always thought about putting my supermoto quad on the road but thought it would have been easy to lose my licence!!

Is the artic cat the same thing with a track conversion? Does it keep up with the skidoos?

Cookee, yeah its a 750 Arctic Cat quad with a track conversion kit. Basically you replace the wheels with track assemblies. I'm told it takes an hour or so to switch over. It is not as fast as a skidoo on a straight run say across a frozen lake but keeps up fine in the back-country stuff we do. It is a bit colder than riding a skidoo as you sit higher up and with less weather protection!
