I saw that made me laugh, they are not actually bad cars, we have had one since new (1990) and 72,000 miles later its still going strong and nothing has every gone wrong with it. Original clutch and gearbox and I was driving it about for a year and a half
comedy for sure! - not that badder motor, had same unit in a y reg golf 1.1, new plugs, points, condesor, and strobe timing light, and a bit of carb tweaking ran lovely!! - bargain for a car with an mot !!
