HPI DVLA check

Looking at a car this weekend and was wondering what the cheapest HPI check for outstanding finance/insurance write offs etc was available. I've already done a basic search that gives me Tax due date and confirms the cars colour, engine size etc.

The cheapest I found was the RAC at £10 are there any online ones for less?

Google 'HPI check' and a load come up.

yeh, but they are all a £10er and above

!

Thought I'd draw upon the experiences of the forum to see if anyone had any tips advice they could give, it's always worth putting the word out
