Nice one!!!

There was a test in a 4x4 mag where they tested speed of the hill decent on a load of 4x4s. The winner was of course the new Defender - 27seconds - the next closest was the Disco3 with proper electronic HDC - 19seconds.........

Let us know how you get on. I am very tempted for next year. Only problem is I will have to find a way of cutting the holes in the bulkhead and the dash for the vents. Bloody stupid to remove them seeing as the cutout lines are still there!!!

Yep, the vents are the only thing i miss on the 07,,compared to TD5,, The ability to open the window, without the draft, the vent sorted that out !!,

The vents were fantastic on dusty tracks as well. No matter how good the rear doorseals dust always gets sucked in - on ANY vehicle. By opening the Land Rover vents you create a slight overpressure that stopped the dust coming in.
