Was driving up the A3m to Aldershot today Nasher. I did look across at the right spot in the hope of seeing your new 4X4, but a little later on a shiney looking 55 plate Landy came speeding by. I did look across to see if it was you! But alas it was a bunch of pikey looking rugby types.
When we got to Devils Punch bowl there was said 55 plate Landy parked up, hazards flashing on side of road with 4 burley looking, head scatching numptys all stood around an open bonnet.
So you were in my thoughts today mate
Hope all goes well for later in the week.

Na Na JW! It is genuine concern with regards Nasher, I know how much trouble he's had with the Shogun and am hoping of good things from his new car.
One thing I should be able to guarantee however is the reliability of the front/rear axles and the transfer box, as I made the end of line test cells for Landrover and Dana.

Thanks very much for being concerned, it's nice to know somebody cares
The Shogun was such a good car up to the last few months, so I'm hoping the Disco will be good too.
I'm obviously a bit disappointed I've not been able to collect it yet, but on the other hand the more that gets sorted now at their expense the less I'll have to worry about.
Nasher.

Great news you have bought a D3 , Electric parking brake failure is a standard feature I have had them go on both of ours , with the auto I seldom set it relying on Park. If you can get a decent warranty I would suggest doing so . I have also found using the premium grade diesel really does work and have got an improvement of about 3mpg .
You will hate the sat nav and you will need a updated cd for it . If you can copy mine be my guest. there is a guy on D3 website called Wiggy who will do all sorts of up grades to satnav etc .
Have fun it is the best car I have ever owned and I have had a few !

Lurcher Hi.
Seam to be swapping backwards and forwards between here and the D3 site at the moment, and yes they've been a great help.
Was followed over there by a certain Mrs Knot Yet too
I've already sourced a 2009/2010 Sat Nav DVD but it's kind of you to offer.
You are actually to blame for me looking at D3s, following our conversation over at your place last year about how pleased you are with yours, and how well it tows your Beastie.
Thanks
Nasher.

Even more so with an empty boat trailer and an outboard in the back... "Afternoon sir, have you got a receipt for that engine?"

Am I right in thinking those Hats are the same as Landie Owners Club hats but they last 4 times longer.
Chewy I'm Welsh we get even and then some! Could be Fun

Damn you've noticed - can you get arrested for internet stalking
On a more serious note - where did you get your latest SATNAV DVD Nasher?

Similar, the Landy ones are actually leather and not leatherette so they don't rot and fall to bits as soon as you import them into the country.

Wondered what that strange accent was, I thought it was a dialect of Yorkshire which I'd never heard before, I only though that as I fould you "lost" on the moors at half one in the morning.
