The article puts up the name of Julian Bailey:
"A Daily Express article has reported that Bailey is secretly "The Stig" (from BBC2's Top Gear) however Top Gear have never confirmed or denied this."

I seem to recall an ex F1 driver having on his website the claim that he is the Stig? I think I read it on Ribnet too.
Can't remember the name though.
God I'm helpful.

I've just remembered - it was Perry McCarthy, although it may not be any longer.

He's my pit crew. I've never seen anyone get a set of wheels off so fast.
I wish someone would make him give them back afterwards though.

Its just that I don't have access to all those expensive cars and nice race tracks.
I bet I'm pretty mean with a diesel 4 X 4 towing a trailer over Britains Pot Holed, sign crazy, crowded, expensive, absolutely third world, Lorry overtaking other Lorry at 1 MPH roads.

Perry McCarthy says it's him in his autobiography - couple of years old now though.
Very good read "Flat out flat broke!"
