X5 'Lecky Window Master Switch

Anyone have any idea where to obtain an electric window master switch (in drivers door) for an X5.The Main Dealers require £196+Vat for this item. There must be a breaker somewhere that has one, I've been searching for hours.

Nope, they're all slightly different. None of the 5 series switches are the same.

Ask for a test drive at a BMW stealer's say you would like to try it over night so the wife can try it out!
When you take it back you do not have to tell them the window will not open!

Advice given & to be taken with a pinch off salt!

Mollers,

My company does a lot of business with a BM main dealer. If you want to let me know the part number I will phone my contact & see if there may be a bit of "trade" to be had. No harm in asking

Umm, kinda thought of that.
I know a guy that test drove a Renault 5 GT Turbo from a main dealer years ago. He had a bag of bits that he taken off of his own GT Turbo with him.He parked it up in a quiet lay-by and set about it with a pozidrive. The main dealer sussed it and he got himself in loads of shit.
