11 meter ex-US Navy RIB Project for sale

Greetings: I have an 11 meter RIB, originally built for the US Navy, that was purchased last summer for a businessman in the Philippines. The boat is complete, but in slightly 'weathered' condition. It's on a brand-new 3 axle "Loadeze" aluminum trailer. Since purchase, the boat has been disassembled for shipping. Both turbocharged diesel engines are removed, the console has been removed from the hull and the pneumatic tube/collar is also removed, along with most of the control cables and steering hoses. The two "P.P. Jet drives are still mounted in the hull.

While the boat is now ready to go into a seatainer, circumstances in the Philippines have changed, so we are interested in selling the project here. The hull is sound, the engines are complete but need standard maintenance, the jetdrives appear to be in good shape and the tube needs some new valves but is in reasonably good shape. Instruments on the console are all weather-damaged and will need replacing. The batteries are removed and will also need to be replaced. Title and related documents are clear and complete.

I will be happy to send as many photos, answers and related documentation as requested. Serious offers only, please.

serious project.
asking 22k, but it wouldn't surprise me if you had to put another 50k in to it. this would definitely depend on how much work you decide to do yourself.

What is the status of this RIB... we have contract that has been changed on us from hard sheel to inflatable vessels. Need better specifications and a few pictures if you are still holding... regards, <.M

Hi
Does your contract say the rib must be made in the US?
The best RIBS are made in Europe and to ship across the Pond is no big deal

Must be U.S. Built and we must also get a USCG COI which is not impossible but tough! Actually we need 3 of 25 to 30 passengers. Thanks, M.

Almost impossible to get a COI for passengers for hire RIB currently. Check out USCG MTN 01-08, which relates directly to certified RIBs, before you consider purchasing any RIB for passengers for hire. While a former navy boat can probably be used as a 6 pak , it will never meet the necessary requirements for a COI without extensive modifications, and maybe even not then (ex. fire retardent resin). You will be better off building new.
